Delaware-Maryland Beach Photographer - Emma on Film

Over the summer, I had one of the best beach days with my kids. We did all the things you do when you're at the Beach. We had breakfast at Surf Bagel, hit the pool, went to Funland, walked the boardwalk, got Thrashers french fries, Fishers popcorn and Kohr Bros Custard with rainbow sprinkles. I wanted some one on one time with Emma before she started Kindergarten so we packed a bag with a towel, my digital camera, my film camera and we headed to the beach. We played in the water, in the sand and watched the sun go down. We got in the car and she said it was the best day ever. These aren't technically the best photographs, some are properly exposed, some not so much. Some are blurry and others are happy mistakes. Regardless they make me smile and take me right back to this moment. The summer before Emma headed off to Kindergarten. The summer before she got on that bus and didn't look back. The summer before she came home from her first day of school 3 years older and hungry because she talked all through lunch, just like I did. The summer we will never forget.
