Harford County Photographer - BKLP turns One!
Friends, we made it through the first year and I couldn't have done it without you! BKLP is One! A year ago I decided to follow my heart. I started an LLC, opened a business bank account, upgraded my camera, got some insurance, designed a website, hit publish on a facebook business page and here we are.
Every good celebration deserves a sweet treat. I ordered a custom BKLP cake from The Cake Lady and I couldn't leave without a few macaroons too. My daughter Emma put her little 5 year old hands in the cake before I could photograph it, I didn't pay extra for the finger marks.
If you know me personally, you know I've always had a love for photography. I learned so much about business from my Father, and as the saying goes 'Nobody treats you like Uncle Mike'. I like to think when my daughter is my 'assistant' on shoots, or sits with me while I edit, she sees how I am putting my everything into giving clients memories or helping their business grow and one day she will put her heart + soul into something she loves, and I don't mean fingers in a cake ;)
I want to personally thank all of you for supporting me, but I especially want to thank my Dad, my number one fan. My husband, family, friends, and Emma + Jack who keep me smiling everyday. Even on the days when they ruin a beautiful cake.
